Oh what a fun day we had today! We took the campers to Yard's Park...they got to play in the wading pool and sprinklers. We also got get our groove on with the band "The Congress", which was performing a lunch concert. A great way to get our minds off the sweltering heat and humidity!
I also had the opportunity to go a DC United pro soccer game...it was a great experience considering soccer is NOT one of my favorite sports. The US Marine Corp did their silent routine. Very impressive...considering it was still in the mid 90's with dew points in the upper 80's and the were in full dress! Although we lost it was still a great opportunity to experience yet another great event in DC!
