We have stopped home quick to drop off Elizabeth's car and continue on our "Elizabeth's Birthday Adventure". Hamlet: Reframed was a fantastic production...open audience with people sitting on all sides at floor level and up on balcony things. Very good acting and very comedic!! The Fringe Festival lasts all month and we are already planning on what to see throughout the rest of the month!
After the play we ran into many of Elizabeth's friends so I was introduced to so many new wonderful people who all had ideas of how I should play out my tourist trips the next 6 weeks! There was a fun courtyard with a bar and grill (literally a charcoal grill) so we ordered a beer (with no olives or pickles available!!! oh the tragedy of that!!!) and a grilled burger...DELISH!! I really wanted to order Blue Moon but because I can get that in MN I ordered a local tap which was pretty good...would have been better with my "salad" of a pickle and olives, but definitely enjoyablle, hence the reason I had 3 of them as afternoon turned into evening :)
Soon we are heading to one of the local joints for a few more beers and some great company (or at least Tony claims his friend Joe is just that). As for tomorrow I am excited to head over to Our Savior's Lutheran for church...there are several LCMS churches around the DC area and I am looking forward to attending them all, that said I need to get a little more comfortable on the D6 Metro Bus!!
Have a great Saturday night, I know I will!
